PEB Holding operates a certified quality assurance system in accordance with DNV ISO 9001:2000 and the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED), an accredited Safety and Health Environment (SHE=VCA), as well as having environmental policies and procedures in place.

PEB Holding has established a three tier documented quality system. The first tier is the Quality Policy manual. This Manual contains specific statements of authority and responsibility for carrying out each of the elements of the quality system and a brief description of how these elements are managed.

The second tier of documentation consists of the departmental Standard Procedures. These are detailed directives which address and implement the control of each system of quality assurance as a part of the company-wide system for conducting business. These systems include the major categories, such as:

• Contract review
• Design control
• Document control
• Purchasing
• Product identification and tractability
• Process control (manufacturing)
• Inspection and testing
• Control of measuring and test equipment
• Control of non-conforming products
• Control of records
• Training
• Quality Audits

The third tier consists of specific instruction documents. These working instructions are generally production orientated and include step by step details of what each individual does in handling the specific requirements of a contract or product specification and those duties required to implement the assigned activities that are indicated in the Standard Procedures.
